Sallah: Army restricts movement in Borno

To ensure a hitch free Sallah celebration, the 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, Borno State, has placed a strict restriction on movement across the state. 

A statement issued on Wednesday by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 7 Division, Col. Tukur Ismail Gusau, said, “the general public in Borno State be informed that a restriction on vehicular movements will be observed during the Eid Kabir celebrations throughout the state.

South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma has put the blame for the current surge of refugees crossing the Mediterranean Sea into Europe at the feet of the Europeans themselves, BBC reports.

Television actress Nana Gichuru was Tuesday afternoon killed in a road accident in Kenya after her car rammed into a lorry. Police and witnesses say the actress appeared to have been trying to overtake a number of vehicles in her BMW when she collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
Curiously, Nana has been posting what appears to be a premonition of her death on social media, often asking why people always questioned her driving style in high speed.

No More Concessional Posting For Corps Members - NYSC DG
